Pilot terms

Draft for review: these terms deliberately do not pretend the operator, insurance, cancellation policy or cleaner engagement model has been finalised. Those decisions and legal details are required before accepting live bookings.

Requests are not bookings

Submitting a form only asks Homle to review a cleaning need or cleaner application. It does not create a confirmed booking, guarantee work, or authorise a payment.

The private customer and cleaner trackers report only stages recorded by Homle. A tracker stage, room-scan review, screening check, approval status, availability record, quote or cleaner response does not guarantee work or create a booking; confirmation requires the protected booking pack described below.

How a job becomes confirmed

A job is only confirmed when Homle gives the customer the agreed scope, date, price and cancellation terms, gives an approved cleaner the scope, date and proposed pay, the full visit remains inside an explicitly confirmed cleaner availability window, both separately accept, the booking checks pass, and Homle records the final protected booking pack. The control desk must also verify the required payment step outside Homle against the exact accepted amount and retain only a non-sensitive provider reference and verification time; Homle does not perform the charge and neither recipient booking pack exposes that evidence reference. If a cleaner declines, availability is withdrawn or Homle withdraws a proposal before confirmation, the affected private links become read-only and Homle must recheck the match. A pre-booking withdrawal does not itself create a booking, take payment or alter a confirmed booking.

A requested frequency such as weekly, fortnightly, several times a week or “as properties turn over” is a planning preference only. Every quote, cleaner opportunity and confirmed booking covers one dated visit unless Homle later provides and both sides separately confirm another visit. No recurring schedule, automatic renewal or future payment is created by the frequency choice.

Before Homle has an active controlled proposal, a customer may replace the requested date or arrival window through their private tracker. The earlier timing remains in the audit history, and the replacement is still only a request: it does not confirm Cleaner availability, accept a quote or create a booking. Once quote preparation or an active offer depends on the current timing, the tracker blocks another timing replacement until that unbooked proposal is closed or exhausted. The private quote shows the frozen requested timing beside the exact proposed date and time and flags any difference. A proposed alternative date or arrival time is not confirmed unless the customer separately confirms that exact proposed schedule, accepts the frozen quote and all later booking checks pass.

A first-available window supplied with a cleaner application is also a planning preference only. It cannot be used for matching until screening and approval are complete and Homle separately records that the exact window was re-confirmed.

Visit dates, arrival windows and cleaner availability are shown in UK local time (Europe/London), including British Summer Time when it applies.

Changes, cancellation and safety reports

A request submitted from a private booking pack records an item for Homle to review. It does not itself cancel, reschedule, change access, alter the scope, authorise a refund or replace the confirmed booking pack. Until Homle records and separately confirms an agreed change, the existing booking remains the current record. Urgent danger should be reported through emergency services or the verified Homle support route as appropriate, not only through the online queue.

Cleaner applications

Applying does not guarantee work and does not require an applicant to accept an opportunity. The professional introduction, languages and equipment/products plan completed after applying through the private tracker are private starter information only; they are not automatically published, verified or converted into a public profile. Homle cannot complete screening or approve the application until that starter is complete. A screened, approved cleaner may submit exact future times through the private tracker, but each time remains a pending request until Homle separately confirms it; submission alone does not make the cleaner matchable or assign work. Before any work is offered, Homle must complete the checks appropriate to the final engagement model and explain the proposed pay, status, responsibilities and payment timing.

Property access and job information

Customers are expected to provide accurate information about the site, hazards, access, parking, alarms, pets and any specialist requirements. Cleaners should only carry out the agreed checklist and should report unsafe or materially different conditions.

Customers who add property photos or dictated instructions must have permission to share them, avoid unnecessary personal or security information, and review the generated checklist for accuracy and completeness before submitting it for a quote. Homle records that checklist confirmation and later scope changes still require separate review. Customers may separately choose whether the one selected cleaner can review the room photos and notes through a private, time-limited opportunity link before booking; this choice does not reveal the customer's identity, exact address or access details. A photo job brief remains a draft until Homle and both sides agree the final scope.

During an active clean, an unexpected task can be offered for customer approval only when the Cleaner confirms it fits within the remaining booked time and already agreed pay. Homle checks the recorded estimate against the scheduled end again before approval. Work needing more time or pay is not added silently and must be reviewed as a separate scope issue.

Price, cancellation and complaints

The final quote, included work, payment timing, cancellation rules, re-clean process and complaint route must be supplied before a live job is accepted. A quality or complaint request submitted through a protected booking pack records an item for review and does not itself promise a re-clean or refund. Final job economics may be recorded only after the customer receipt and cleaner payout occurred outside Homle and were verified against distinct non-sensitive references, the frozen customer price and agreed cleaner pay. If a later refund, re-clean or other cost is completed outside Homle, the control desk may append that evidence without rewriting the original outcome; the website itself does not move money. No pricing displayed during the development pilot is binding.

Identity and contact

The legal name, address and verified contact details of the Homle operator must be added before public launch.
